What is Laughter Yoga?

Laughter Yoga combines yogic breathing with playful laughter exercises. Though it may feel a bit strange at first-laughing for no reason-it soon becomes a natural and joyful habit. After practicing these exercises, I find myself laughing more easily, and my happiness has increased. Laughter Yoga is a wonderful addition to my daily wellness practice!

Why Laughter Yoga?

It taps into the childlike playfulness that we tend to lose as adults. When was the last time you laughed for no reason? Small children laugh freely on playgrounds, and that kind of laughter is infectious-it brings smiles to everyone around them. Laughter Yoga gives us space to enjoy that kind of joyful uninhibited laughter. And, the best part? Your brain benefits from the laughter, whether it is real, or just “fake it till you make it”!
